Polyetheretherketone, referred to as PEEK, is a linear aromatic polymer compound with chain links in the main chain of molecules. Its constituent units are oxygen - phenylene - oxo - carbonyl - phenylene, which are semi crystalline and thermoplastic.

     PEEK polymer easy to process

     PEEK polymers can be processed by using traditional thermoplastic processing equipment. Unfilled and filled grades can be supplied in the form of pellets, powders, or ultrafine powders. Granular materials are generally recommended by injection molding, extrusion, monofilament and wrapping. Powder is suitable for compression molding, and superfine powder is usually used for coating, composite prepreg and molding.

    Most standard reciprocating screw injection molding machines can be manufactured without filling and filling  PEEK grades, which can be used to produce high performance components with complex structure, without annealing or conventional machining.
